SOC 2 Type II Certified
Why it matters to you
We are SOC 2 Type II certified and believe it is a key differentiator for us and should be important to our many clients and to your business. SOC 2 compliance helps ensure the security, confidentiality, and privacy of your company’s data. Many of our clients today have different compliance requirements such as ISO, HIPAA, Hitrust, CLIA, GDPR, NIST, and others—and all of these require that the IT service provider be SOC 2 certified.
Did you know that less than 5% of Managed Service Providers are SOC 2 Certified?
Advantages of our SOC 2 certification for your business
- Peace of mind and trust—knowing that your systems are always secure when working with us.
- Demonstration of our process-oriented business and trustworthiness as an outside vendor.
- Ongoing audits—ICE gets audited yearly with the SOC 2 certification and meets the required trust principles.
What is SOC 2?
SOC 2 is a coveted and hard to obtain information-security certification, and it demonstrates that an independent accounting and auditing firm has examined an organization’s non-financial reporting control objectives and activities. The auditing firm tests our controls over time to ensure that they are operating securely and effectively.
Developed by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), SOC stands for Service and Organization Control. It defines criteria for managing customer data based on five “trust services principles” — security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy.
Issued by outside auditors, SOC 2 certification assesses the extent to which a vendor such as ICE Consulting complies with the five trust principles based on the systems and processes in place.
